Editorial politics and scope

The Revista Eugenio Espejo (REE) , with ISSN: 2661-6742 (digital version) and 1390-7581 (printed version), targets professional and general readers interested in discussions and research analyses about the Health Sciences or related to their topics written in Spanish. It is published three issues a year: January- April, May-August, and September- December.

The publication expenses are borne by Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud of Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo (UNACH), which is the responsible for the journal editing procedures. This journal is indexed within Latindex Catalogue v2.0, Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico (REDIB), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE), Matriz de Información para el Análisis de Revistas (MIAR), Dialnet, Google Académico, Red de Revistas Científicas de América Latina y el Caribe, España y Portugal (Redalyc) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Due to editing decisions, the original articles (50%), have priority among others and the maximum number of articles published by the same author cannot be more than two.

REE sends notifications to its users. The journal website is updated integrally when a new publication takes place. However, the principal editor may add or remove content when necessary.

REE follows the CC BY-NC-ND- 4.0 guidelines established by the Creative Commons License 4.0.

This scientific publication allows open access to its content based on the principle that offering the public free access to the research. This helps a higher interchange in global knowledge. The manuscripts submission and publication and REE distribution are free of charge. The copyright of the REE belong to UNACH.

REE uses LOCKSS and CLOCKSS. Additionally, it also saves the published information through its own preservation politics through UNACH digital systems.
